GD GOENKA WORLD SCHOOL SHINES AT THE AMERICAN CENTRE SPELLING BEE Our student Saumya Singh was the first runner –up at the Spelling Bee Competition organized by American Embassy and won laurels for school G D Goenka World as well as received a DELL Laptop. The other contestant Amrita Saha reached the top ten out of 56 finalists from across the country.
GRADE VIII STUDENTS MAKE A MARK AT CNBC- AWAAZ FINANCE QUIZ G.D.Goenka World School was among the four prestigious schools from the NCR to be invited by CNBC – the TV channe l- for their first ever venture to interact with schools in educating students in the use of money. Aptly titled “Responsibility and Rupiah” the format of the competition was novel and interesting. Each school was given a case study to which the students’ team had to prepare a response and present it to an eminent jury.The GDGWS team comprising four grade 8 students - Vanshay Khurana, Surya Pahal, Teja and Shubham Jain represented the school and won the FIRST RUNNERS UP position.
GOENKANS STRIKE AGAIN WITH BRUSHES Inter school Art Competitions were organized by Kinder spaces where the school bagged the over all trophy and 9 individual prizes where the youngest winner was a student of grade Nursery.
