Mrs. Sonali Sinha has dedicated over three decades to the field of education, with the last two decades spent as the head of several prestigious schools in India. A graduate of Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi, she holds a master’s degree in history, along with two bachelor’s degrees in history and education.

Commencing her career as the Head of the Computer Center at DPS, Mathura Road, Delhi, she later became a TGT in history at DPS, Noida. There, she played a pivotal role in designing and establishing a computer lab in 1996 to keep her students ahead in embracing technology. Mrs. Sinha has also co-authored computer courseware for schools with NIIT. As the school’s founder and leader, she established and expanded a DPS in Lucknow over ten years. Additionally, she served as the Director at DPS Saharanpur. Furthermore, she served as the Head of School at The Kasiga School in Dehradun and The Universal School, Tardeo, Mumbai. Notably, she successfully led The Universal School in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, an institution offering both the International Baccalaureate and the IGCSE curriculum.

Mrs. Sinha was honored with the Certificate of Distinction from Education Today, recognizing her as among the “Top Fifty Effective Principals of the Country” in 2019 and 2021. She received the Principals Progressive Schools Association’s “Uttarakhand Ratan” award in 2018 and the Fortune 50’s “Future Fifty Leaders Shaping Success” award in 2019. Recently, she was awarded the GSLC Global Edu Icon Award for the year 2022-2023, acknowledging her outstanding contribution and impact in the field of education.

Furthermore, Mrs. Sinha has led numerous foreign collaborations with institutions such as BelOrme School, France, Williamston School, Scotland, and Dedridge School, Scotland. Known for her collaborative and approachable leadership style, Mrs. Sinha fosters a culture of teamwork and open communication. She believes in empowering her staff and creating a positive work environment that supports professional growth and development.
