On 27th May I received a call from my coach that I had to play the D.D.C.A league match. Then he told me that it was tomorrow the 29th of May 2009. Even though I was the youngest member of the team I got a chance to play in just one match. I was very proud of myself. Our team had to field first. The opening pair from the Chand Khanna Club who were batting got off to a flying start and scored 67 runs for no loss in just ten overs.
I got the chance to bowl in the eleventh over and I took the first wicket on the first ball! My teammates took me on their shoulders and started celebrating. I then went on to get 8 wickets in 15 overs and 2 maidens. I only conceded 64 runs! The interesting part is that we took 8 wickets and I took all of them. I have made history at Delhi District Cricket Association, in the Under-16 category. This was the interesting thing that only 8 wickets fell down and I took all the 8 wickets and I made a history in the Delhi District Cricket Association (D.D.C.A) Under-16 as it was told by the D.D.C.A Officials. I also got the same ball with which I bowled signed by the D.D.C.A Officials, even though we did not win the match.
