Goenkan Baseball team played it’s very first match at American Embassy on 3rd December, 2016.
Goenkan (Panthers) played against K R Mangalam School, GK – 2. The score was 13 to 5 at the end of a great game. Even though GDGWS lost the match, the team but won the hearts of many with their never die attitude and sportsmanship. Shashank Kataria hit 2 Home Runs, exhibiting brilliant performance in first match. It was a good learning for our junior team. Also, a praiseworthy performance of the team in the debut match gives us all lots of hope for the future of Goenkan Baseball team.
