G.D. Goenka World School secured 2nd position amongst 40 teams which participated in Science Quiz Contest held on 18.01.2018 in G.D.Goenka University.
Two teams comprising IB-DP, Year I students participated in the event. The students who participated were:

- Gamini Khurana
- Prankit Bhardwaj
- Minyeong Kim
- Diwakar Gupta
- Darsh Jain
Each winner received a trophy, a certificate of participation and appreciation, Rs. 4000/- cash prize and 40% scholarship by G.D. Goenka University
