On August 22nd, our Career Advisory Cell hosted an insightful Application Essay Writing Workshop for Grade 12 students, aimed at enhancing their college application journey.
Led by Paramita Roy, a seasoned expert in English literature with a Bachelor’s (Hons), Master’s, and MPhil, the workshop explored the nuances of crafting compelling reflective essays, including the Common App Essay and UCAS Personal Statement. Students acquired valuable techniques for effectively conveying their passions and experiences in essays such as “Why Major,” “Why College,” and those focusing on extracurriculars and community involvement.
Armed with these skills, our students are poised to present their best selves to universities worldwide!
