n interactive workshop on SUBSTANCE ABUSE was conducted by the counseling department on 24.5.11 with the middle school and IGCSE students. The content on the issues like smoking ,alcohol and drug addiction were well interspersed with the role plays and the slide show and the video clippings.
The resource person Ms Gagandeep Kaur and the facilitator Ritu Dhingra gave an insight into the impact and the consequences of addiction. Some important life skills were imparted especially BEING ASSERTIVE in this case to the students along with dealing with PEER PRESSURE and adopt certain prevention strategies.
