The Inter School Swimming Meet at Pathways World School was filled with high-spirits, enthusiasm, healthy competitiveness and commitment. Each year, the number of Goenkan swimmers increases, and more importantly, the skill level improves dramatically, leading to an impressive overall performance and thus a number of accolades.
The Goenkan team was declared the First Runner Up team with over a 100 points more than the next best, leaving Assam Valley, Mayo, PPS Nabha, Pathways Noida, Lansers, Shriram School to settle for the consolation prizes.
The entire team shone, but a few Goenkan swimmers really stood out. Amrrita, Aditya, Anati, Virat and Suhyun displayed a great level of adeptness by helping the teams medal tally reach 51 medals (Gold-2, 28 Silver- & 21 Bronze ).
The PYP swimmers showed their eagerness to take part and won in the relays for the under 10 and under 12 age groups which were highly competitive, capturing the essence of this year’s Swimming exploits.
