The International Award programme presented Mrs Vijayashree Pahal, Coordinator of the School IAYP Youth Engaging Society a service recognition Award for her involvement with the Award Program at the Golden Jubilee Ceremony held at the British Council, New Delhi on the 21st of April 2012.
This was to mark the 50 years of the Award Program in India and the Awards were given to the Gold Awardees and coordinators by Mr. James Bevan, British High Commissioner and Ms. Sue Walker, The Regional Director for The Asia Pacific Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association. Along with The National Director and team, the event was also graced by Mr. Rob Lynes, Director British Council and Mr. Ajeet Bajaj, Padma Shri.
Goenkan Award participants Jinreung and Bumin showcased their skills by performing a mesmerising Korean fusion dance performance at the Award ceremony which was much appreciated by the Award Family.
