On December 10, 2012 the entire GDGWS congregated in the Central Courtyard to celebrate and rejoice on the occasion of the 8th Founder’s Day of school. A special Cake was ordered to mark this momentous occasion, which was graced by Mr. Nipun Goenka, Managing Director, G. D. Goenka Group and other dignitaries from GDGWS and GDGWI. Amidst much cheering, the ceremonial cutting of the cake was followed by the proud singing of a special song- “Just one Candle” and the School Song by the entire student body, followed by cutting of individual cakes by each Form.
