GDGWS students of grades PYP and Middle School participated in an Art Competition – ‘MITSUBHISHI ASIAN CHILDREN’S ENIKKI FESTA-2012-2013’ organized by Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee, Tokyo (Japan) Confederation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations of India, Asia Pacific Federation of UNESCO clubs and Associations and World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations.Total 9699 entries were received by the organization and after screening of the entries jury selected 8 entries for adjudgment by the International Screening Committee. Sunwoo Son of grade 6 emerged anaward winner at the festa and rest of the students were awarded with participation certificates. A letter of appreciation was awarded to the Principal and the school.
According to Ms. Briana, “Having a partner school has encouraged pupils to progress with the project as they are enjoying sharing their work with the partner school.”
