The Inter-House Elocution Competition was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2013 .There were 12 participants in all with three participants from each house – two from Middle School and one from Pre Igcse. The topic for the Middle School and Pre Igcse were poems on wit and humour and inspirational speeches respectively. All participants performed exceptionally well winning accolades for their house. The inspiring speeches included ‘Tryst With Destiny’ by Jawaharlal Nehru, The Inaugural Address by John F. Kennedy and ‘I Have A Dream ‘by Martin Luther King Jr..The judges for the competition were Ms Monica and Mr Arun Singh. The MC Tisha from middle school handled everything well. The competition gave a lot of encouragement and confidence to the speakers and all present there .The event was culminated with a few words of encouragement by the Vice Principal followed by the results .Kartikeya Sundaram bagged the first prize in the middle school followed by Rakshita Kumar and Diya Singh standing second and third respectively.Raghav Goel stood first in Pre Igcse followed by Saumay Kinra(second) and Arshia and Zenele (third)Ramsha from grade 6b won a complimentary prize too.
