On 6th September ’13, the Head of Boarding, Mr. Glen Johnson organized a Power Point Presentation Competition for the boarders. Each floor came up with excellent presentations on various topics. PYP, MYP, IGCSE and IB, all the students worked for their presentations with great enthusiasm. It was a very informative experience for all Indian culture, importance of water, affects of social networking, media as a source of communication, sex education, technology and its development, female feoticides, and many more topics widened the range of students’ knowledge. The presentation on cultures of India helped many international students to know more about the country they were residing in. Students learnt about how social networking sites are dangerous, how media plays a major role in communicating and sharing thoughts and information, what’s new in the techno world and how it works, and so on. It was a great success as all the students enjoyed it and learnt many new things in an interesting way. All the house parents as well as the students believed that we should have more of such fun learning experiences.
