Republic Day was celebrated with plenty of gusto. The event was organized by PYP team and Mrs. Pretty Khosla, thePYP Cordinater and graced by Mrs. Neeta Bali, the principal who hoisted the tri-color flag and thereby infused the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the viewers. A wide range of special activities centered on the theme were conducted to instill the spirit of national pride and love for the country. The colorful presentation which was a beautiful amalgamation of dance and music was so very pride instilling A Republic Day parade was held by young Goenkans .Students were enlightened about the relevance of the day through a speech . The innovative Junk orchestra “Rhythmic Punch”, presented by the students was mind boggling. The program culminated with a colorful drill and a small felicitation ceremony for the young French learners who received many Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for their exemplary performance. The day’s celebration came to an end with Mrs. Bali sharing the accomplishments of our nation with the students along with some amazing facts about the country. Students not only enjoyed the day but went home as proud and happy Indians..
