G.D. Goenka World School organized Project ‘Paalak’ for the PYP students to educate students on growing organic vegetables .The project was inaugurated by our principal Dr Neeta Bali & guided by our Ex -student Sayesha Khanna, a topper in the IB-DP batch of 2012 as part of her involvement with activities at Lady Shri Ram College , where she is studying currently . Sayesha educated the students about the organic plantation of spinach after which each student picked a pot & labeled it .They sowed seven spinach seeds in each of the pots & were educated about the reason why only seven seeds were sown.Students were energized to sow the seeds & water them. They showed their excitement by wanting to watch the plant grow. It was a pleasant experience for the children to have hands on experience on how vegetables are grown.
