(Life is beautiful)
To explore their creativity and widen the horizons of pupils, the Foreign Language Department, CS-1 French , initiated an “Inter-class Bookmark making Competition” for Grade 7 which was carried out with loads of creativity & zeal by our students on 4th August 2016.The theme for the competition was ‘La vie’ (life)/ ‘L’amour’( love) .
Participants decorated the Bookmark Cutouts using innovative material with extreme enthusiasm. Students then wrote inspirational quotes on the bookmark to make them more interesting and to capture the reader’s imagination.
The judgment was carried out based on the following parameters –
1) Effectiveness of design 2) Creativity 3) Conviction of the quote
The judges were Ms. Geetanjali Yadav, Ms. Trina Chatterji and Ms. Deepika Grover.
The winners of the competition are:
FIRST POSITION: Rajsi Sharma
SECOND POSITION: Amishi Khanna
THIRD POSITION: Kritika Agarwal/Mehak Kochhar
CONSOLATION PRIZE: Vanshika Agarwal, Astha Gautam, Akshat Mishra & Vansh Jain
