“Creativity is one of those words that are bursting with VITALITY.”
An Inter-class Leaflet Making Competition was organised on 5th August 2016 for the students of grade 7. The ability to create an effective product, creatively involves two processes: thinking and then producing. Students proved their capability in this competition by exhibiting their innovative ideas and decorating their beautiful leaflets. Topics were given on the spot to the students. The competition was based on spatial and kinaesthetic intelligence, both of which help students to enhance their unique set of capabilities and devise ways in which they may demonstrate intellectual abilities.
The judgement was carried out based on the following parameters
1. Leaflet attractiveness & Organisation (30%)
2. Grammar (20%)
3. Content (30%)
4. Spelling /Vocabulary (20%)
The judges were Ms Trina Chatterji, Ms Usha Kumari and Ms.Abhini Singh, who were pleased with the variety of ideas and the fine work put up by the students.
Amishi of Class 7B won the top honours in the competition while Vanshika Agarwal(7B),Priyanshi Yadav(7B) and Jasmine Kaushik(7C) bagged the second position and Charvi Goyal of Class 7B stood third.
Saaransh Malhotra of 7C and Rajsi Sharma of 7A were awarded consolation prizes.
The competition was full of life, passion, and spirit. It showed that creativity has a positive association with everyone and that GDGWS has loads full of talented students.
