Jaipur Enthralls Students
Making an optimum use of the long weekend , Boarders went on a trip to Jaipur on 13th August 2016 and returned on 15th August 2016. Before checking into the hotel , there was a brief stopover at Jal Mahal, which is one of the most photographed buildings in Jaipur. The palace appears to float in the center of Lake Mansagar . This stunning building was once the shooting lodge of the Maharajah. Everyone was happy to get down from the bus after a journey made long due to traffic snarls and posed for pictures in front of the majestic Mahal.
A wonderful DJ night was organized by the poolside prior to dinner. After refreshing themselves at the swimming pool, students enjoyed dancing to foot tapping music.
The next morning was spent at the Amer fort, which lies 7km to the north of Jaipur. This mighty fort combines massive defenses with delicate artistic details and stands at the top of a high ridge. Everyone was transported up to the main courtyard in jeeps. The students were enthralled on seeing the majestic Amer Fort. The guided tour was informative and students could be seen listening in rapt attention to the enthusiastic guide.
The students also visited a Block printing unit and saw skilled labourers stamping and producing beautiful designs on cloth.
On 15th morning , after flag hoisting ceremony , everyone boarded the bus and headed for school after an enjoyable and educational tour.
