The Inter-House Swimming Meet was organized for CS1 pupils this week. Apart
from providing a platform for showcasing skills, these competitions are a means of enhancing learning experiences for students that may not be fulfilled by a classroom curriculum.
The competition was spread over two days with the finals on 23rd of August, 2016.
There were 18 events held for the participants including Individual Medley, Freestyle and Mixed Relays.
Jae Won won the ‘Best Swimmer’ award amongst the boys with a total of 4 gold, 2 silver and a bronze medal.
Ye Won Park with 3 gold,3 silver and 2 bronze medals was adjudged the ‘Best Swimmer’ from the girls category. At the end of the meet, the medal tally house-wise was as follows:
NYSSA – 10 GOLD, 7 SILVER, 11 BRONZE
SORBUS – 3 GOLD, 4 SILVER, 2 BRONZE
CEDRUS – 3 GOLD, 1 SILVER, 3 BRONZE
CYCAS -. 2 GOLD, 6 SILVER, 2 BRONZE
