The CS1 Calendared Debate was conducted on 10th Nov, the day dedicated to The World Science Day for Peace and Development 2016. The topic for the debate was “Do Science Centers and Science Museums contribute to Science communication?” Grade 8 pupils enthusiastically participated in the debate speaking for and against the motion. Being the pupils of the virtual world well connected with technology, there were more arguments against the motion. They were of the view that with the world at a click away, there was no need to visit the science museums which at many places have models which are obsolete and do not offer any explanations about them.

It was a healthy debate, which gave an in depth information on the pupils awareness and knowledge on the subject.
