Our Admission Procedures

Every year GDGWS welcomes students from around the world to our campus.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The admission team at GDGWS looks for students with integrity, energy, and curiosity, a commitment to academic and personal growth and an understanding of what it takes to be part of a rich multi-cultural environment. We look for highly-motivated students from diverse backgrounds, with talents and skills in activities and sport.

Admissions Enquiry

    * All Field are mandatory to fill

    Documents Required:

    1. Certified true copies of school reports of last academic year.

    2. Copy of birth certificate/Passport

    3. Passport size photographs – 5 no’s each and 3 no’s each of the parents.

    4. Transfer Certificate


    DEADLINES:

    We offer Rolling Admissions that accommodate the many varied needs of our students throughout the year. The procedure is simple and designed to reduce the stress usually associated with school admissions.

    HOW TO APPLY?

    For online applicants:

    If you would like to use the Online Application, please ensure you have filled in the Day-boarding/ Boarding Application Form and the Medical Form.

    Also please ensure that Registration Fees are paid online and all Supporting Documentation is attached. Refer to the Application Checklist.

    For paper applicants:

    If you would like to submit the entire application on paper, please ensure you have downloaded, printed and filled in the Day-boarding/ Boarding Application Form and the Medical Form.

    Please ensure you have filled in all sections carefully.

    PART 2: ATTACH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

    Go though the Admission Checklist to ensure you have attached all supporting documentation.

    We require:
    • Completed Day-boarding or Resident-boarding Form.
    • Completed Day-boarding or Resident-boarding Form.
    • Completed Medical Form.
    • One passport-size photograph.
    • One Reference Letter (from someone other than a family member)
    • Transfer Certificate.
    • Photocopies of Report Cards over the last two years.
    • Photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
    • Registration Fees:
      DB: INR 5000 or USD 150
      RB: INR 10,000 or USD 300

    PART 3: SUBMIT THE APPLICATION*:

    GDGWS offers the option to submit the entire application online or to download application forms to be filled in on paper.

    * Helpful Notes for Completing the Application Form

    Standardised test scores, recommendation letters, transcripts and current grades will take some effort on your part to collect from testing agencies, teachers and school (or schools). Please give yourself ample time to collect this information before submitting your application form.

    PART 4: SCHEDULE AN ADMISSION TEST & INTERVIEW:

    An Admission Test and Interview are required to complete the admission procedure for every applicant.

    Curriculum and age-appropriate Admission tests are conducted in Math and English.

    Appointments should be made in advance. Please call the Admission Office to schedule an appointment. Interviews are typically scheduled during the week between 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. However, special accommodations can be considered due to distance and travel.

    Candidates and their parents are given a tour by an admissions officer.

    The decision of the School Authorities is final and binding.
    Filing and submitting of Application form does not guarantee admission to the School.
    The Admissions Office will not accept incomplete application forms.
    Any false or incorrect information furnished may jeopardise selection and enrolment.
