12 Days educational trip to #NASA for Grade 6 to Grade 12 students was a very enriching and rewarding experience. It enlightened about the tremendous developments that have been achieved in the field of outer space science and technology. Students visited various pavilions in vast campus of NASA, “The Shuttle Launch Simulator”, “session on microgravity”, “I-Max 3-D space movies”, “Exploration space”, “Rocket garden”, “Early exploration”, “Robot scout”, “Apollo/Saturn V Center” are a few of them.
Students enjoyed great Atlantic at Cocoa beach, Florida and down town in Orlando city. Also the visit to the world famous Universal Studios, Sea World and Disney Magic in Orlando, Florida and then to New York City, the capital of the world was full of fun. They also went around Manhattan and Brooklyn and visited Freedom Tower- Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island, Times Square, #Madam Tussauds and #Wax museum. Visit to USA & Canada is not complete without visiting Washington DC & Niagara Falls .In continuous to explore Niagara Falls, NY students explored the famous Maid of the Mist or the Jet Boat Ride and enjoyed the Niagara Falls Adventure Movie. At #Kennedy Space Centre students enjoyed live shows and jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets. They witnessed first-hand everyday challenges faced by astronauts. Visit to Hershey’s chocolate factory, ##ORLANDO – #DISNEYLAND and shopping added up to an inspiring 12 days of fun and enriching space activities.
