Creativity, activity, service (CAS) is one of the three essential elements that every student completes as part of the IB-Diploma Programme (DP).CAS enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experience. It provides opportunities for self-determination and collaboration with others, fostering a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment from their work.
Our students visited to Maldevta Farms, Dehradun. Our empathetic students not only enjoyed the fun and exciting activities but also did a service for the humanity. They painted a government school near Maldevta farms and also cleaned the entire school.
Students also had thrilling experience of Rock climbing and rappelling under the supervision of trained individuals.
Not only this, TOK activities were also planned for students on the trip. Students enjoyed activities like Straw joining & Paper Tower making. The students applied their imagination and logic along with planning and collaboration skills. The students achieve a higher level of critical thinking when they evaluate their own learning compared with what they get exposed to.
The trip also offered students opportunity to interact outside of the classroom, thus enhancing their bonding with each other and improving their social and life skills.
The trip was an unforgettable experience for all of them!
