A visit to the university kitchen by Kindergarten children

As a part of the Transdisciplinary Theme “How we organize ourselves” students of Kindergarten are learning about the various community helpers who help us in our daily lives. On this account students visited the kitchen of the restaurant “Le Cordon Bleu” in GD Goenka University and interacted with the chef who then explained to the little ones how they work there for making various delicacies. They were shown the huge refrigerators, microwaves, deep freezers, ovens, flour machines, store house etc. Students learnt about the efforts put in by these people in preparing the food that we eat at the restaurants, hotels as well as in school.
