Exam time is considered to be a stressful time for every student, which is why on 1st March, a session on overcoming exam anxiety was conducted by the School Counselor and the Special Educator for the Middle School students. The aim of this session was to not only help students overcome exam anxiety but to also learn how to plan their time effectively to maximize their learning.
The following was covered in the session: time management, exercises to overcome exam stress, efficient planning, tips to learn and retain information, what to do when you go blank while writing an exam. don’t think about. Furthermore, the counselors discussed how sleep and study breaks are important for their health during exams.
Towards the end of the session, students shared various study tips that they have found helpful so that if need be others could benefit from them too.
