A group of 12 students ( from grade 6-12), accompanied by a teacher and tour coordinator, went for a 9 days trip to Australia, exploring the cities of Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast.

Our first day in Australia was artistic and sporty, we had a backstage theatre tour of National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, having a wide variety of contrasting performance halls; we also had a visit to the Melbourne Cricket Club ground (MCC), learning about behind the scenes work before matches as well as how on spot (live) media works, along with an intriguing history lesson about the great figures in cricket history. We also went to Philip Island and witnessed an adorable penguin parade.

The second day was well spent on the most beautiful long stretch of the Great Ocean road admiring the rock formations, ship wreck point, including a visit to The Twelve Apostles.

The next leg was to Sydney which started with a city tour including visit to the Harbour bridge, Sydney Opera House and enjoyed a fabulous view of the whole city from the Sydney Tower (bird eye-View). The following day we had a trip to the Feather Dales wildlife reserve, seeing loads of fascinating animals like Kangaroos, koalas, penguins(few exclusive to Australia itself), and a visit to the Blue mountains which had the most beautiful Walkway, Skyway and through the forest and also thrilling train(railway) ride. Few students also enjoyed the helicopter ride. At the end of day all the students enjoyed shopping in Sydney. After dinner, it was time for the evening walk till the Yeirra river. It was a beautiful view with sparkling lights all around.

The final leg of the trip was- Gold Coast. It was the most amazing and memorable part of the

trip where in students went to the Movie World enjoyed the Roller Coasters and all kinds of rides. Students also witnessed the parade of the Movie Characters-including Batman, Superman, Scoobydoo, Tweety and many more. Few students took the Indoor Sky diving. This was followed by visit to the Sea World, the next day, where everyone enjoyed the rides, the wonderful Seal and Penguin shows, Car shows and the Thunder Lake show. At the end of the day, it was again time for last minute shopping at the Pacific Mall. This brought us to the end of the most wonderful, amazing and memorable trip.
