GD Goenka World School had invited Specialized German Education Consultant as a guest speaker to address Grade 11 and 12 students.
Majority of Indian students prefer to study in US, UK, Canada & Australia, which requires huge investments with less scope of job search visa and acquiring PR in long term. On the contrary, if we compare post study opportunities in Germany, the students are provided with 1.5 years of Schengen Job Search Visa after the completion of their degree program. This visa is valid in 26 Schengen Countries and not only restricted for Germany.
Students were informed about the requirements for Admission in Bachelor’s Programs in Germany. For IB Diploma Holders, the best of the German Universities offer direct admissions in “Bachelor’s Programs in Germany”. Almost 90% of the German Universities are public and education is free or has a very minor fee, as compared to other developed nations.
The seminar was enlightening and made the students well aware of the universities/ undergrad programs.
