Blended learning – a recent coinage which has been on the upsurge lately- is a technique in which e-learning is combined with conventional classroom methods . As a part ‘Professional Development Programme’ for the teachers of GD Goenka World School after the restful, recuperating summer break, a workshop was held on 17th July , 2019, in the assembly hall to acquaint them with its innumerable benefits.
The focus of the workshop was to assist the teachers in developing the skills needed to design, develop, and enable blended learning environments in their curriculum. Through hands-on experience and activities designed to uncover best practices, the teachers learnt myriad methods of introducing this concept in their classrooms. It was an enriching experience and a good learning platform for all the teachers as it provided valuable insight for effectual teaching.
