The books put on display for the purpose of sale were on various subjects from Science, Language, Literature, Fiction, and Art & Craft. Students from all grades including boarding students browsed the books on display and many of them bought the books as well.

The major attractions along with the book fair were the sessions on Storytelling and Cartoon Illustration.

Storytelling Session:

A Story Telling session was organized on 24 April 2019 for Nursery to Grade 5 students at Assembly Hall by Ms. Sonia Bareja, who believes that every story makes the world brighter and beautiful. The session was indeed valuable and distinct. The students found it really interesting and got engrossed in the story of  “GAJAPATI KULAPATI “ for lower primary kids and another story for upper primary kids “ AKU’S ANGER “which was told  to them with creative gestures. The appropriate use of voice modulation and body language infused passion, enhanced imagination and expression.  It was an interactive session where students were introduced to the right way of communication through a story.

Cartoon Illustration:

Ajit Narayan is a renowned professional cartoonist, illustrator and author of six instructional books on cartooning. He conducted two separate workshops in the Assembly Hall for the students of grade 6 to 8 and grade 9 to 10. He illustrated how to draw cartoon characters using simple geometric shapes and simple methods. Students particularly liked the creation of various Emojis and expression of different feelings like anger and happiness through cartoons.
