Seven IAYP (Duke of Edinburgh Award) participants from G D Goenka World School along with the IAYP coordinator-Ms. Vijayashree Pahal and Ms. Atma Prakash went to spend a day with the girls of the Government school, village Bharana. It was an action packed day in a very foggy village setting. The Goenkan girls organized some sporty games and an art competition and learnt a lot from this interaction. Bharana has the lowest ratio of girls in the country and it was amazing to see their attendance on a cold Sunday morning.
The girls from both schools sang, danced and made the most of this opportunity to interact with each other.
