The pupils in the CS1 Activity programme participated in a two day workshop entitled ‘Music and Colours.’ The students were made to listen to an eclectic mix of music spanning many countries and genres. Celtic melodies, songs by Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, One Direction, songs from ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and many more snippets from a wide variety of singers provided the mood to inspire the pupils to use colour freely and in any manner. The brush strokes seemed to dance to the rhythm of the beats. The art work that resulted from this workshop was a colourful mix of images, some abstract some familiar but eye-catching nevertheless.
