Adolescence is a developmental transition between childhood and adulthood, that involves multiple physical, intellectual, personality, and social developmental changes. It is therefore, important for students to stay informed and guided at this stage of life.

The Life skills counselor, empowered students about how to prevent and stop bullying by learning to speak –up and report if they witness any incidences or experience bullying themselves.

Two of the students from IGCSE, kashvi and Shamsher shared how all of us can come together and create a safe learning space by resisting the peer-pressure.

The school psychologist enlightened the students on substance and drug abuse. She shared the signs, symptoms, causes, prevention of drug use and its implications on the quality of life. Drug education also enables children, youth and adults to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes to appreciate the benefits of living healthy and yield a productive life.

The Special Educator sensitized the students about children who have learning disabilities and how they are often the targets of bullying. These children can be helped by little, kind gestures within our school environment.

Students could relate to the content shared through the presentations followed by the videos and interaction. The session was concluded by the counselor who inspired the students to join in and make the campaign a successful one, with their everyday participation. The students were encouraged to reach out to the counselors, for any concerns and difficulties they face.
