The exemplary performance of the IB-DP students, Astha Shukla and Sayesha Khanna was applauded and duly recognized by the school management in a special assembly on February 11, 2013 as GDGWS IB-DP toppers-2010-2012 . Sayesha Khanna was felicitated by the school principal, Mrs. Neeta Bali, who in her speech congratulated the students and inspired the others to follow their dreams. For Astha Shukla, cheque was presented to her mother, Ms. Shuchi Shukla as Astha is currently pursuing Bio-medical Engineering Programme at University of Pennsylvania.
An award of Rs 1, 00,000/- each was presented to Astha Shukla and Sayesha Khanna by the Chairman of the school, Mr. A. K. Goenka. This generous and moving gesture has acted as a force of encouragement and motivation for the students to excel in whatever they do.
