The average human has 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts per day. Since our thoughts lead to our actions, which ultimately create the results we see in the material world, it’s fair to say that we should take them seriously.

Simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won’t) was the take away for teachers in GDGWS as they attended a powerful session on “Creating Mindful Teachers” facilitated by Circle of Life, Gurgaon.

They were guided on how they can increase their self-awareness by paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally as how we control and channel our emotions has a powerful impact on our personal and professional lives. Also, how negative emotions have the ability to cause stress and anxiety and divert energy away from productive activities or behaviors.
