CS1 Inter-House Stencil printing competition-22nd and 29th August, 2017

On the 22nd of August a small group of 12 committed artists assembled in the Middle School Art Room to participate in the Inter-House Stencil making and Printing Competition. The competition was divided into two parts –Preparation of stencils and printing of stencils

The pupils were provided topics from which they had to choose one and prepare the stencil. The topics ranged from Paper cut designs to ‘My home,’ ‘My favourite festival,’ ‘Musical instruments and ‘Fruits.’ They cut out intricate designs for the next day.

On the 29th of August, the same group of students assembled to complete the process of ‘printing’ their stencils with poster colours and small pieces of sponge. The resultant designs and compositions were interesting and very colourful. The colour combinations were eye catching too. The results are as follows:
