A “Freshers Night” was organized for all Boarders on Monday, August 1, 2016. The night began with all the new Boarders introducing themselves. This was followed by the announcement of the Boarder’s Council where all the office bearers took oath.
This was followed by a Jam Session, with almost all Boarders dancing away to glory on foot tapping music and their favorite numbers.
The icing on the cake was a special performance by the Afghani students which enthralled one and all and students could be heard asking for more. The beautiful evening culminated with a special dinner.
The very purpose of the party was to welcome newcomers in a friendly atmosphere and this party really helped in breaking the ice between the old and the new Boarders.
