Keeping in tandem with the aforesaid paradigm, GD Goenka World School had organized a three-day trip to Jim Corbett for its students from 10th to 12th January, 2019. On the first day, the jubilant students mounted on jeeps and zipped off towards the Tiger Reserve at Corbett National park. They had an overwhelming experience as they saw a few animals and birds in their natural habitat. Trekking in the fresh mountain breeze on the next day further augmented their excitement, which was followed by sumptuous piping hot lunch alongside Kosi River. To sensitize the students towards the community, the students presented gifts to the under privileged children of a local school. On the last day, the students gained hands on experience about the concept of waste management with “Waste Warrior Team”. Overall, it was a brilliant outing which unbolted the young minds to a greater level of ecstasy.
