Another successful event hosted by G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna- its 4th Inter School Science Fair, on the 22nd of August 2014. 12 schools from the NCR region participated in this grand event, G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna gave students an opportunity to participate and show their intellectual and creative skills.

The event started with a formal welcome by Dr Neeta Bali , School Principal There were a range of activities that were not only fun but also tested the students’ intellect and knowledge in various different ways. There were four events to the program, involving students from grades three to twelve. EUREKA brought out the best creative talent in the students from grade 3- 5. We have G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna win first place from the junior group of students and G.D. Goenka Public School, Model Town won first place from the senior group of students of this event.
TESSEL-O-CRYSTAL gave an opportunity to students of grade six to eight to create a crystal structure using the 3-D Tessellation technique. We have G.D. Goenka Public School, Greater Noida securing the first position for this event.
The SYMPOSIUM – “Saving Corals” for grades nine and ten induced students to present scientific concepts related to crystals.The winners for the symposium were students from Blue Bells Model School, Gurgaon.
QUIZTELLOGRAPHY racked the brains of participants from grade 11 and 12 and tested their knowledge on the theme of crystals. G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna again secured first position in this competition.
The overall school to win wasG.D. Goenka World School, Sohna .However being the host of the event,the trophy went to Vasant Valley School, Vasant Kunj with Blue Bells Model School, Gurgaon as the first runners up and G.D. Goenka Public School, Greater Noida as the second runners up.
