Students at GDGWS took the whole-hearted initiative and presented an assembly to celebrate the vibrant and vivacious festival of Basant Panchami.
It is an occasion that marks the advent of spring and is also celebrated to worship Goddess Saraswati: the deity of knowledge and wisdom. These Indian festivals help students understand the rich cultural heritage and give them an opportunity to familiarise themselves with traditional festivals.
At the end, ascribing to the ethos of the global dimension, Director Principal, Dr. Neeta Bali, mentioned in her address that the cultural diversity of our school community needs to be explored, integrated, and celebrated on every occasion as it is a significant step to solidify cultural spirit amongst us.
