Alumni meet was organised by the Alumni Cell of GDGWS on December 22, 2018. It was a wonderful moment welcoming Alumni. The Alumni are the role models, friends and guide for our present and future pupils.
As a school, we seek to create a lifelong relationship with every alumnus in order to advance in our mission of lifetime networking between the School and Alumni and amongst the Alumni themselves. Alumni from various batches were present for this meet after a long time and naturally, we’re thrilled to be back in the campus again.
The Head of School Dr Neeta Bali addressed the meet. She welcomed alumni as an integral part of the school, appreciated their presence and contribution. The formation of the Old Students Association (OSA) and office bearers were announced from now till March 2019. In her speech, she asked alumni to come forward with suggestions and guidance for the institution’s growth.
In response, ALUMNI RECALLED their school days emotionally and expressed their gratitude towards the Institute for shaping their life. They also shared their experiences as well as interesting moments of campus life and promised to contribute in their individual capacity to further progress of their alma mater. They shared extremely positive memories of their favourite faculty members who enriched their lives and nurtured them during their time on campus.
Strong bonding with the pass out pupils and commitment to excellence in every field has long been a hallmark of GDGWS. Faculty members and pupils find this reconnection gratifying and fruitful.
Alumni reunion came to an end with a musical performance and fun games. They relished the lunch & enjoyed the lovely noon.
