Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on July 26 in the memory of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Kargil War. On the 23rd anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. GDGWS had organised a memorable event to remember the courage and determination of our armed forces. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed Chief Guest Maj General Prabdeep Singh Behl. This day commemorates the success of ”Operation Vijay” which was launched to take back the Indian territories captured by the Pakistani intruders in the Kargil-Drass sector in 1999 and remembered the bravery of our soldiers who sacrificed their lives on this occasion.
