Objective of the event was to provide an opportunity to students to express their knowledge of Business through various competitions. Schools like Heritage School, Pathways World School, Scottish High, American Excelsior, Apeejay School, MSG Glorious International School and GD Goenka Public School expressed enthusiasm towards participating in the event.
Brimming with excitement competitive events on current business environment in global scenario, i.e Business Quiz, Poster Making, Video Making, Innovative Product Display were showcased at the event.
The theme for the first event ‘Poster making competition’ was ‘Sustainable living’. All the student participants displayed their talent in Arts by reflecting the sustainability challenges being endured in maintaining a balanced approach towards economic activity, environmental responsibility and societal benefit. Quiz Competition’ challenged, all students on their general awareness towards the latest happenings in the business world.
While on the other hand students presented their informative videos at Video making competition on “Sustainability Threats of Economic Growth”.
At Product display students presented their products based on their knowledge of 4P’s of Marketing. All the students consummately presented their innovative products and explained their features of their products.
At closing ceremony Scottish High International School was announced the overall winner and was accorded the title accordingly.
Dr.Neeta Bali, Director Principal GDGWS said “For a well-rounded and holistic development of students, the school encourages students participation in inter school competitions. These platforms offers invaluable exposure and are enriching to understand how our real life experiences themselves integrate several basic concepts of Commerce.”
