On February 2, 2013, G.D. Goenka World School hosted the SAIBSA – 2013, a confluence of more than 150 IB-DP teachers from 15 prominent schools including Doon School, Step by Step Schools, Amity Global School, Pathways World Schools and Singapore International School, Mumbai.
The plenary session started a brief introduction by Sapna Yadav DP Co-rdinator, GDGWS, followed by a formal welcome by the Head of school, Neeta Bali. An invigorating session was taken by Mr. Raman Roy, Chairman & Managing Director, Quatrro, who spoke about nurturing the right’ attitudinal “and “attributional” aspects in Education. Ms Priyamvada Taneja, currently the Development Manager for India based in New Delhi with her work that involves fostering the interests of the IB, its programmes and services in India acquainted the delegates with the latest developments in the IBO educational scenario. Break-away sessions evinced expertise of IB-DP teachers who shared best practices with all participants as facilitators. The day ended with distribution of certificates by Head of School, Neeta Bali and a vote of thanks proposed by Mr Kaiser Dopaishi, President SAIBSA.
