G D Goenka World School constantly endeavors to identify and nurture future Scientists, Mathematicians and Language lovers through multifarious activities. In an effort to provide students with a competitive platform where they can prove themselves at the National and International level, the school conducts the National Science(NSO), and International Mathematics(iOM) and International English Olympiads (iOEL) under the aegis of the Science Olympiad Foundation, Mathematics Olympiad foundation and The Educational Society of English Language respectively, every year.
In the session 2012-2013-, twenty two students appeared for the NSO from Grades VII-XII. The top scorers were Kartikeya Thiyal Sundaram of Grade VII with an International Rank was 108; Zubin Khosla of Grade VIII with an International Rank of 319, Anmol Agarwal of Grade IX with an International Rank of 158, Shivam Khetarpal of Grade XI with an International Rank of 278 and Yash Agarwal of Grade XII with an International Rank of 235. Fifty seven students from Grades III to XII, participated in the iOEL. 8 students received gold medals, 7 won silver medals and 6 students won bronze medals for their exceptional performance. Shubhangi Gautam of Grade X, was awarded a wrist watch for securing the 4th Rank at the International level.Seventy two students from Grades III to XII, participated in the iOM. 7 students were awarded gold medals, 6 won silver medals and 6 students won bronze medals for their outstanding performance in the exam.
