As part of their PYP Exhibition Unit, Breaking down Barriers, Grade 5 organized a walkathon on Monday 18th February 2013. All PYP students (from Nursery to Grade 5), their teachers and some Japanese exchange students participated in an energetic walk. The walkathon was held to raise awareness of the rights available for people with special needs and promoting sensitivity towards them, with an aim to creating an inclusive society. The students carried posters, wore badges and sang as they walked around the field.
