Graduation Day for the outgoing batch of 2013 of G D Goenka World School , Sohna, was conducted on the 13th of April 2013 was a truly solemn function. It was amazing to witness the grandeur of the occasion. The ceremony began with the graduates entering the dining hall with the measured strides to honour the dignity of the day, raring to step into the new wide world.
Following that, the MC took over the proceedings and introduced the chief guest,Mr .Sharad Sharma ,a renowned journalist ,an actor and an entrepreneur .The occasion was also graced by the dignitaries of GD Goenka Institute. The Principal, Dr. Neeta Bali gave a rousing welcome After the lamp lighting ceremony, the IB co-ordinator Ms. Sapna Yadav addressed the students and applauded the high achievers of the institution This was followed by the presentation of souvenirs to the outgoing batch as a token of benediction. The school year book was also released on this gracious occasion. By the Principal and the Chief Guest .It was an emotional moment to hear some of the students come up on the stage to share their experiences and walk down the memory lane.The chief guest gave an inspiring speech, exhorting students to follow their passion followed by the vote of thanks proposed by Vice –Principal, Neeru Sharma
