G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna hosted their first ever IBDP E-Graduation Ceremony for the class of 2020, on May 23, 2020.
Honourable Chancellor, GDGoenka University and Vice Chairperson, GDGoenka Group, Mrs Renu Goenka sent her blessings to batch of 2020 on this solemn occasion and released the yearbook.
Director Principal, Dr. Neeta Bali and the Head of Programme, Dr. Manisha Mehta gave inspiring messages to the students. A virtual visual art exhibition by IBDP students was a unique highlight. Scintillating performances by IBDP students added colour to the occasion.
An optimistic video message by the chief guest, Mr. Simarjeet Singh, an international motivational speaker created an aura of reassurance when he emphasized on the ability of humans to adapt to the ever-challenging circumstances. His encouraging words will remain with the students for their lifetime.
The never tiring form tutors of grades 12-A to 12-E expressed their affection by giving individual citations to their form students. All the IBDP teachers, PYP and IGCSE teachers who taught the students in the past expressed their love and showered their blessings through a video.
The unprecedented times could not deter the students of the outgoing batch from expressing their feelings while giving their emotional speeches, which reverberated their memories .Tanushree Kochar was declared the valedictorian while Anisha Neogi and Yashraj Nanda were declared best IB girl and boy respectively.
