Dhruv Wadhwa of IX-C was a part of a 6 member team that represented India in the First Lego League EuropeanOpenChampionship Robotics Competition. Dhruv and his team won Second prize in the category “Robot Strategy and Innovation”.
The competition was held in Aarhus, Denmark from May 26 to May 28, 2017. The competition comprised of 119 teams from 50 countries competing on their skills in Robot construction, programming and presentation of ideas and solutions while sharing their culture.
Using a combination of robotics and drones, Dhruv and his team developed their own prototype which can safely remove bee hives from buildings and transfer them to bee farms where they contribute to our food chain through pollination.
It was a proud moment for him to carry the Indian flag on the award podium.
