Elocution refers to one’s capacity of communicating with others, with the use of exact speech and gestures.
Furthermore, elocution is also the foundation of effective communication skills.Keeping this in mind, the ‘Inter Class English Elocution Competition’ was conducted for grade 7 on the 20th of April 2017, all the participants spoke with proper intonation, voice modulation and expression. The participants had to choose any text/poem/speech on the topic ‘Inspiration/Motivation’ and speak eloquently with finesse; it certainly was an enjoyable experience for all those who had participated.
Abhinav Kothari, Nikita Marwah bagged the first prize followed by Kaynat Amar singhe securing second position.
