The pupils and staff of CS1 programme G.D Goenka World School witnessed the Inter-House Fancy Dress Competition for Middle school, classes 6, 7 & 8 on 9th May, 2017. It was the most awaited event, as it is always a pleasure to watch children dressed up as different story book characters.
The students came forward displaying their costumes. They tried to bring their chosen characters to life on stage. Some of the characters were from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, Greek Mythology, Peter Pan, Harry Potter stories, Ruby Redfort as well as Percy Jackson .The competition brought about a fun-filled ambience and the audience as well as the judges were generous with their applause. It was indeed a colourful and exciting event which would be etched in our memory for a very long time.

First prize :-Amishi Khanna Grade 8B Sorbus House
Second Prize: – Khushi Yadav Grade 8C Nyssa House
Third Prize: -Johaan Riat Grade 6A Nyssa House and Dipannita Singhal 8C Nyssa House
Another reason to rejoice-At the end of the event our swimming team from CS1 was felicitated by the Head of Programme and Certificates and plenty of medals were handed out to them for Inter-School event held Pathways World School , Baliawas where our fantastic swimmers made us proud.
